• The Filter Grids are made of non-toxic polypropylene so are ideal to use as baffle boards and filter media supports trays, the open grid design allows a free flow of water and will give excellent strength and support.
• Filter Grids also called gravel tray supports, go in the botton of a filter to support the media off the floor of the filter so that the debris have time to settle at the bottom of the compartment. It also helps when you come to clean the media in the filter especially if you have a drain off at the bottom.
• These Filter Grids present the ideal solution for supporting many types of filter media such as our own Bio-Plas range, in a suspended chamber, where full water flow is always present for perfect bacteria development.
